coolant temp

What is normal operating temp for 2018 Jeep Cherokee limited. Dealer says 220-225 deg. F seems high. Asking because the car blew out 1/2 gallon of coolant after shutting off.

A quick google shows 225-230 is normal for the 2018 with the 2.4l.

Quick Google yielded Jeep Club forum where members said 185-195 was normal for 3.2L

My 2018 Cherokee Trailhawk (3.2 L V6) while towing is putting out 220F to 234F! Runs much cooler. Everything i read online says that temp will destroy tranny fluid really quickly.
