Default control arm bushings

i'm putting in new bushings in the control arms for my 2004 dodge neon. can i expect the same thing as when i put the bushings in the leaf springs of my XJ?? is a really big hammer fine to use or will i need a vise??

bump... will i need a hydraulic press or torch or might it be possible to just beat the old bushings out?

I used a ball joint press on my Cherokee, made things way easier.
