Camry AC problem

Camry AC problem
Have a 1995 Toyota Camry V6 that has an issue with the AC vents. The air will blow out the side vents but not the center 2. This just started about a week ago.
I know in the past with other cars I've had the issue of it coming out the defroster instead of the vents and that was a vacuum issue.
Could this be a similar problem? I'd like to have an idea of what to look for before I tear the dash apart.
