Buddys tj is acting up please help
Hey there, I've tried looking through the forums to find an answer or at least point me in the right direction. Supposedly when one is driving the said tj when the vehicle encounters a jolt, such as a bump on the road it acts as if the rear axle is being pulled back and the engine speed drops quickly and then returns to normal. The subject is a 1998 tj 4 banger 5 speed with a 3 in lift and 33 in tires. Thank you again i hate making a new thread but I couldn't seem to find anything on it. Im on this forum almost everyday its just i don't post alot, let me know if you guys have any ideas thank you.

Need more info. Does it slow down when the engine revs drop? If not, one would think it was clutch related, but usually the engines revs up , not bogs.
