Those axles should be 4.56 gears and a Detroit rear... At least my bro got CUCV axles from a 85 and it has 4.56 a detroit rear, kingpin d60 front and 14 bolt ff

Well been awhile since I last updated. Been very busy with the truck. Inside of cab has been bedlined with 4 coats of Herculiner. Bed has been bedlined with 3. We finally got the new skid unit built and it'll be going in soon. LED red lights are in and will be getting them mounted soon. I got the front guard painted and reinstalled and two red lights in the grille holes the military made for their stuff. Siren is on the way and then It'll be heading to the local decal shop for stickers. About another week or so and it'lk be put in service.
Dumb phone and its sideways pics...

More sideways pics... mounted all the lights and wired them myself. Mounted the siren control and speaker(very loud)! Painted the pump components. Lettering and tires are coming.

I can't remember if I posted that from a PC or not lol. I think I did... Whatever I saw I liked!
Is the steel tank for water or fuel for the pump? I can't imagine it lasts long if it's a water tank.

Its an aluminum water tank. 250gallons. We run a small 1" forestry hose on the brush trucks so that tank would last around 5mins-10mins depending on nozzle gpm settings and the operator. We have such a small tank due to this truck being our new offroad/woods truck and we need to keep it as light as possible. Our engine's run 1000gal tanks and our tanker holds 2750gals. So with a tanker supplying the truck we could run it for a long time. We don't necessarily try to 'extinguish' brush/woods fires, the main issue is to just keep it contained. If we can contain it, it'll burn its self out.

I'm a sucker for EV **** lol. This is bad ***. I have started work on our First a Responder fleet here. Two 2000 XJ's, one 90's suburban, a early 2000 suburban, GMC jimmy etc etc. most have minor issues with em such as fan belts, oil changes, charging system. Nothing too crazy. I can't wait for the EV lighting to go out so I can build a nice package and not just a have a lightbar sitting up top. Truck looks really good. I remember seeing it when you first got it and just never commented. All in all, looks really good. What type of brands you have in you're lighting package? The siren amp looks a Signal and the bar looks like a whelen or federal but I can't tell what the TIR's are.

I got excited when I saw, "Brush 2" on a Cherokee forum. Don't get me wrong. I love that truck and wish it was mine. I miss our loner from the USFS. Who built y'all's skid? Looks sharp.
Little brush trucks like this are awesome for picking spot fires up quick as well as initial attack. Just have a water tender quick behind.
