Default Blowed up ignition distributor?

So working through a cranking, but not starting 98 Integra....

(fwiw: Staring fluid didn't get it started, guessing spark problem, now replacing stuff that needed to be replaced anyway since I'm already in there.)

"they" say this red dust is bits of the distributor grinding itself up...so I'm guessing I need a new one. I had started with doing things that needed replacement anyway, like wires/cap/rotor.

But then I see all this dust which I think means I need a new distributor. So rather than go to the next step, which is new ignition coil, I'm thinking why bother if it is probably the whole thing needs replacing, which means it would come with the ignition coil (and cap/rotor) anyway....

At this point just messing with things that I can get off amazon and still add up to being less than the tow to the mechanic... And I haven't messed with pulling a plug to check for spark yet...

Any thoughts?
