Any Subaru guys, need help.
 
My wifes 97 Legacy 2.2l is throwing a code p1500, radiator fan relay 1 circuit malfunction. Anyone know what this could be?

Yeah, the water pump gasket is leaking bad. Will need a new water pump/gasket. Now of course timing belt. Don't think this is related to the PO code though.

Might as well replace the pump and thermostat to since its all right there as preventive maintenance.. Timing belts on suby's are easy,
Btw low coolant will affect the fan switch.
