76 VW rail buggy
My brother picked this sweet buggy a few weeks ago for a steal of a deal.
Looks and runs great. But needs a bit of work basically just needs some rewiring and thats about it. So far we have done oil, spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap, rotor, points, air filter, fuel filters and bleed the brakes(only has rear drums). All of this took about 30min to do. This thing is so easy to work on. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...ner/nick/3.jpg http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...ner/nick/4.jpg http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...ner/nick/5.jpg http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...ner/nick/2.jpg http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...ner/nick/1.jpg I've been after one for a long time but haven't been able to find one in this good of shape for under $2000. My brother gave $1000 for this thing and its in great shape. This weekend were taking it to Beasly's knob ORV trails to see what it can do. Should be really fun. |
That thing is sweet!

Heading down to pick it up some time today. Going to bring it to my house so its closer to the trails. Plus I can work on the wiring at my house because I have everything I need here. Take my 95 Grand and my homemade car haler trailer to pick it up. Should be fun I've never towed anything this heavy behind my Jeep. Then tomorrow I'm towing it across Blood Mtn to Beasly's Knob ORV trails and its one hell of a Mtn pass. Should be interesting.
