I have a friend who has a 07 compass 2.4 and they had the starter played with one was bad at one point I guess so it was replaced.

Now some how someone stripped and broke the copper looking solenoid bolt from what I can see it is moving around and it is missing its other washer and nut how easy is this to try and repair?

do I just take the solenoid off by the 2 phillips screws which ill add one of those is almost stripped aswell so ya how would I tackle this or would it just be cheaper and easyer to just order a reman/rebuilt starter
