2001 Blazer Driver's side suspension and Steering Replacement

Anyone done it? I've got a friend asking me to fix her blazer so she can sell it. I just want to know how tough it is before I say yes

What all are you trying to replace, some things will need some specialized tools, others will not

Both control arms and tie rod on the driver's side. Possibly the CV

I've done wheel bearings and CV axles on a 2000 gmc jimmy and it wasn't that bad but I wouldn't fool with the control arms without having a torsion bar removal tool handy. Just the tension on those things kinda scares me lol

I was kinda wondering about one of those. It's already taken apart though, so it would just be reassembly

Yeah but you still have to preload the torsion bars to reinstall them. But for everything else should be a breeze.

you can rent one from AZ or such i think

The control arm or arms are already off? You know there is a left side and right side for the torsion bars, you put the wrong one on it rides like crap. It not bad if you have the torsion tool. If uppers you don't really need the torsion tool just have a Jack placed right under the arm. And loosen the upper ball joint and a smack or pickle fork and the arm it loose and the lower stays in place. Replace parts and tighten arms bolts with full weight, eyeball align and sent off for full alignment.

It's only the driver's side. She got sideswiped or something.
