Default 2 issues with van

hello everyone

vehicle:
1997 dodge ram van b2500
5.2l v 8
193k miles

has a few minor things to get fixed when time and money permits but these two things might be something more serious i want to get taken care of.

1. occasionally when driving i get the old light coming on and the oil pressure jumps around sometimes to zero. pushing on the gas every time will turn it off so it only happens when i am not pressing the gas.
the vehicle still runs fine and makes no noises. thinking this might be the oil pressure switch but not sure where thats located. i hear if it was the pump or something then i'd hear noises and the vehicle would not run fine.

2. this has only happened since replacing the air filter system. it had the incorrect one but since replacing it twice the vehicle has stalled and will not stay running unless i am pressing the gas. will do this for a couple of mins then its fine.

any idea's would be helpful.
