1995 Olds Achieva Quad 4 question.. lame I know..
Picked up a '95 Olds Achieva for cheap last month. 2.3L Quad 4. Replaced the water pump, TPS, O2, Struts, Fuel Filter, Plugs, Coil pack, Ignition module and cleaned the IAC.
When it warms up, it gets a "Too Lean" code and sputters. Starts right up cold though and drives fine for about 20 minutes then it starts sputtering. I get a "Check Engine" light and it runs fine again.
Any ideas?????? I am at a loss here. I even swapped ECUs around last week. Didnt matter. Still runs like crap when in closed loop.

Is it stock? I am VERY familiar with J-Bodies (hence my screen name) and I have seen LOTS of people do all kinds of crazy things with the Quad 4 that make it look stock on the outside. There's a couple of different stock cam combinations that open up some extra power. It is possible too that the cams are out of time.

i had a 91 Grand Am with the High Output Quad 4 in it...i eat an Eclipse GS-T up BAD in it one day..the GA was an automatic and the GS-T was 5 speed, so i guess it could have been driver error...
one of my dreams is to put a HO Quad 4 in a fiero with a 5 speed...
