06 Wrangler 2.4 question...

This is a friends Jeep. The pic is part of the second repair order. They fix the seal the first time (far from cheap) It was ok for a few weeks and then it started leaking again. They redid the work at no charge even payed the towing fee. She is currently trying to save up for a new motor. I'm no mechanic a parts changer at best. So out of curiosity does that seam right? If the crank has play would it need a whole new motor? I know I might have better luck with an answer if it was a 4.0 but then if it was I doubt I'd be asking this question. If she was rich it would have a 4bt in it by now :whistling2: |
