02" jeep liberty issues
 

so my Ma has an 02 liberty, 3.7 and upon driving home tonight she lost control of her power steering, the battery light came on, and the temp repeatedly rose till it topped out and a warning light came on causing her to stop n let it cool down 3 times on her way home. upon taking a quick glance at the engine without starting it as it was still super hot, there was no sign of leaks and the power steering bottle was still completely full. anyone have any ideas of what it could be? im planning on starting it later tonight.

Sounds like the serpentine belt broke or seized up

^ Yep check the belt, if its off,broken or missing then check the pulleys for looseness, play, locked up etc.
