Default Easy Fix for Broken J-Bolts

In the event that you ever need to replace your fuel tank, you need to remove the J-Bolts. Unfortunately, if you have a rusty jeep (like many do) they most likely either
snap off or you will have to cut them off. So here is a cheaper alternative than buying a J-Bolt from the dealer for $30 a piece (or if you don't have a welder like me).

Original non-broken J-Bolt

(1) If you had to break or saw off your j-bolt, it most likely looks like this.

(2) Easy fix: reuse the "J" style end then either take the broken end of the j-bolt or use a similar thread tube/piping. Next, go to your local Lowes/Home Depot and find
the correct thread COUPLER NUT. Basically its a long nut that you can connect two different pieces to. Simply connect the two ends together (placing the fuel strap on the correct side as needed).

(3) Reuse the original nut-lock washer and simply hang, bolt in, and you're good to go!
