My Zj been having the problem roughly a month, decides it wants to randomly die out on me, and had a hesitant start. replaced fuel pump already and Dosent seem like fuel issue. Sometimes it runs fine but other itll hardly run and dies out. I was thinking maybe distributor? Vaccum leak? Help please

Not sure on that year but my 2001 was acting like that and it was the TPS.is your check engine light on?

Mine had a somewhat similar issue... Would idle pretty rough sometimes and the check engine light would come and go. Stalled out a few times too. OBD Sensor said O2 sensors - they didn't work; turned out to be bad wiring.

Engine light isn't on it was awhile but I had took the battery out and it turned it off for inspection. It mainly died at a stop idle or putting it into gear. When in actually driving it Dosent really give out much

Hooked it up to a scanner and didn't pull a code, put when I run the ac it hasn't died out "yet" but still having a hard time getting it started and when it first starts there is like a surge of air coming through the intake and it's rough idling until I hit gas an it goes away
