Zj steering box swap? Snapped bolts= no good
I was crawing through my ditch and into my yard when I heard a loud pop. I lost my steering so I assumed it was a tie rod that snapped. I got out and checked all the tie rods and they were good. I popped the hood and to my surprise my power steering box was just laying there with snapped bolts.. Just my luck.
I've been scouring the internet and thought I might as well do some upgrading so this doesn't happen again.
Ive seen where some people swap a 99 durango power steering box into their ZJ. Is that a good route to take? And how much modification is required, if any, to acheive the swap?

I know it's a popular swap on the XJ, not sure about the ZJ, check out the North American Grand Cherokee Association forum and searh around there. They are more in tune with the ZJ over there than this forum. This is a great forum, but it's more of an XJ place.
