So how do i find out what gear ratio i have in my axles is there a code some where? Where can i find the part to fix the tailgate sensor issue?

There is a tag on your diff cover that says what ratio is

There may also be a build sticker on the underside of the hood.

Thanks when i service the diff's ill check for the ratio tag. I know my dana 60 has one.

There's a temperature sensor in the battery mounting tray.

You dont have to wait until u service ur diffs.. the tags right on the diff cover.. you might need to bend down..
Or u can get a build sheet at the dealer just give them ur vin

That temp sensor under the battery is there to tell the PCM what the battery temp is and the PCM will adjust the charge rate to the battery.

you don't even have to take the VIN to your dealer, just email it to Jeep Customer Assistance ( http://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/jeep/index.jsp ) and they will send you your entire build sheet, usually in less than 24 hours. I got my last one back in like an hour.

As far as the tailgate sensor issue.. which you didnt provide any details about so we dont know what the issue ia with it. If you have a vic that shows it bad it could be bad solder joints on the back of the screen
