so i just picked up a 94 zj and the power windows worked for the first couple days, now they wont go up or down.

the relay is getting really hot like it burnt my finger when i touched it
any suggestions?

i didnt see any broken wires in the drivers side harness

Put power directly to the motors and see if there is any movement.

okay, so even though no wires look broken, i think some wire is loose.

if i shut the door hard then try, they will work somewhat.
but will only work for about an inch or two?

I would double check those wires.

ill put a test light on them tomorrow and hopefully find one thats broke casue they all looked fine
