So I had to take my daughter to the Dr yesterday and as soon as I pulled in the parking lot I almost wrecked my wife's car because I couldn't take my eyes off this zj.







Anyone ever seen one of these before? It actually has the glass roof in back and everything.. just thought I'd share this, thought it was awesome. Sucks I couldn't get more pics and never saw the owner it was gone when I came back outside.

So it's just a conversion kit? Would be a cool addition to make a jeep stand out for sure. is that a VHS/VCR mounted in the back?

Yeah it had a tv in it with a vcr in the rear.Remember all the raised roof conversion vans in the 90s one of those companies made that zj and some xjs.

Damn I want to own one of these... I've heard of the Cherokees but not the Grand Cherokees... wish someone would be able to do a "luxury" conversion of the new WK2 Summits to make them comfortable cross-country off-roaders!

The company that did the xjs did the zjs also,But the zjs are rare next to the xjs.The pictures i posted was from a craigslist add years ago way out west or i would have bought it.I never seen one locally ever or even for sale,But i have seen 2 of the xj raised roofs for sale here but they was pricey.

This only proves that with enough money, you can build ANYTHING! If you're going to do it commercially, you need a customer base big enough to support your endeavor. The best custom camper I've ever seen was a GMC ambulance on a 4x4 chassis, fitted out with the usual bed, refridge, and stove.

Finally found a little more info on these. Seems there were only around 200 made in 97 only and sold new for $44000.

My yard would look like a used jeep dealership if I bought another jeep. Trust I will be keeping my eye on it though if he knocks the price down around 2k it will be mine. It's super nice too I wouldn't be too upset if I had to trade out my 95 for it especially since they only made like 200 of them
