Model: Grand Cherokee(ZJ)
Engine: 4.0L
ZJ HCU Replace?
Can I remove and replace the HCU alone without a need to
bleed brakes?
I thought the HCU was a solenoid, separate from the sealed brake fluid.
Never opened one (yet) but my t/s so far looks like bad lump behind the 2 pin
power connector (high resistance).
If I only need a solenoid, are they universal or spec'd by torque, stroke, etc.?
Surely cheaper from a salvage than a whole (BigDollah) unit.
