Oh yea i just got my 98 5.9L back on the road. It has been down for the last couple months with blown tranny. Man it feels good to have it back. Now i can give the XJ a rest from DD duty and get the d44 under it.

congrats! you dont see many of the 5.9s around anymore. there were 3 at the junkyard with the cash for clunker thing and i almost cried...

Oh that whole deal was crap. (the cash for clunkers thing) but that would have made me cry too.

Ever watches that cash for cluncker videos on YouTube </3 I cried a lil when I saw nice cars being destroyed fore money purposes...they would undo the oil pan plug and floor it and red lined the engine then it ran with out oil at red line then u know what happened nxt. :|

Yes that was sad to see. or they would open it up and pour in some fast setting stuff that locked up the motor.

seeing such a rare jeep is one thing, but to see 3 of them waiting to be crushed? when i got to them it was already too late...motors were locked up and the hoodvents were already missing 
and they were pretty smashed up. around here the junkyards would hold demo derbys before the crushed the cars so people like me couldnt even pick good parts off of them.
