I think the 134 has leaked out of the A/C setup thru the compressor shaft but not sure...where is the low side connector to siphon the recharge or does it have to be pumped into the high side...I only see the High side capped inlet? Is that normal for A/C on a jeep?

There is a low pressure port, it should be on a metal line back by the anti freeze recovery bottle on the passenger side of the vehicle. 134 charging kits are made to only fit the low side valve. DO NOT try to charge it through the high side.

Get yourself some cheap manifold gauges and check to see if the system is really empty/low, or is there's still a charge. If there's still freon that points to a mechanical problem, either a bad switch or bad relay, maybe even a bad compressor. Most likely the system's leaked down over the years, but my '95 had a bad high pressure switch when I got it, so it's something to be aware of.

4 years, then you have to refill it, buy some R134a, stop leak and oil from ebay and put it on. Its easy and cheap.

Ok...I checked all the lines tonight and there is only 1 filler cap on all the lines...I am not to savvy on A/C but is it possible that the cap filler is on the low side(I was told it was on the high side)?
Where I live there is not many choices for info...I will be detailing the engine compartment with a pressure washer soon and will light up the forum with pics from my phone for you guys to see...the previous owner said it worked 4 years ago...let you know later buds and thanks for all your responses... kudos
