XJ steel bumper on ZJ?

XJ steel bumper on ZJ?
I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ and my buddy has a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ. He wants my steel front bumper but we aren't sure if it will fit. Any one know if my steel bumper will bolt right on to his ZJ?

Bolt on not even close. You'll need to hack up a good bit of the ZJ metal under the plastic bumper and make all new mounts for the XJ bumper and it will look a bit funny since XJs are square and ZJs are much more rounded.
