wont start

i have a 92 jeep cherokee that wont start.there is no fuel going to the injectorrails and the fuel pump will not turn on. i have tried to hit the tank while starting the jeep but the pump did not turn on. i think i need a new fuel pump but i was wondering if there is anything else i can try before i go out and buy a new fuel pump

Hi, welcome to the forum from fantic, did u check the FP relay?

check the cps. Unplug the connector and plug it back in. Sometimes its corroded inside.

It's worth a trip to an honest mechanic if you can get it there to have him check it out before you go spending all your lunch money on a new fuel pump in my opinion. Best of luck!
