i am having problems with the zj moving forward or backwards when the wheel is slightly turned and cut fully i dont know whats wrong does anyone have any ideas thanks

which transfer case do you have? sounds like driveline wind up. if it's a V-8 with the 249 T-case the viscous clutch is most likely worn out acting like it's in "part time" 4 hi

its the 4.0l motor and it says its in part time 4x4 but its in 2wd so i have no clue whats going on if i put it in 4x4 hi it says its in n and even in n it says that but 4 low it says part time again idk whats going on with it its been like that since i got it but its always worked fine

its also the automatic with overdrive

i dont know i messed arround with 4x4 a little bit today and it works ok now i think it was stuck in 4x4 when it happened but still unsure im still looking at u joints and linkage and front axel

i have the selc-trac transfer case and i believe its my transfer case sticking in 4x4 but im having it looked at but thanks for the information
