New (to me at least) 2008 GC Laredo has dual power heated seats, but all seat functions no longer work. I started moving the seats back after my wife, who is 14" shorter than me, had last driven it. The driver's seat moved about an inch or less then stopped- no noises or struggles, but it just stopped. Tried the passenger seat and no movement there either. Heated seats will not activate.
Checked the obvious fuse (#18 under hood, green 40 amp) and replaced, but no luck. Checked the the visible connections under both seats and verified that they were not loose. Not sure what to do other than take it to the stealership so they can take hours to get to it then bill me hundreds. Has anyone had a similar problem, and how was it fixed? Is there a module that controls both seats that can go bad? Is there any other connections that could have come loose that are not mounted below the seats? Any help is appreciated!
