No, but seriously I bought a wj on the cheap a few weeks ago as a college car. its a 01 4.0 2wd (unfortunately) with 115k, got it for 3500. doesnt have a clutch or clutch fan in it and it needs a heater core. Im semi mechanically-inclined but the heater core is something i dont think i'd want to do myself, would you agree?

I was thinking of putting a hose from each side of the thermostat outlet and just not having heat (i live in florida), would that be an ok thing to do or would i run into more issues down the road?

ideas on picking up a cheap clutch/clutch fan? junkyard be my best bet or maybe a classified forum? im new to jeeps so id appreciate any advice.


oh, and would it be really gay to put big tires on a 2wd? i dont plan on offroading it but love the look of bumpers/tires/rack

i'd still go with a new core. never know if you will move/sell the car, heck ive even been cold enough to use it in orlando.

i don't know about the clutch stuff


if you want your jeep to have bigger tires do it, if you like it (and its safe and legal) then do it.
