Default WJ Budget Boost Clunk in Rear

Hey all, recently installed a 2" budget boost from Kolak, and all went well on the install, but now I have a very noticeable "clunk" coming from the rear when I go over medium-size bumps. I made sure everything is tight (confirmed by a mechanic), and have been unable to reproduce the sound by having someone push down (jump on) the rear bumper. It seems to only occur when the rear wheels hit a bump and seems to be a bit louder and happen more frequently on the passenger side. I've spent over an hour sitting underneath the truck checking everything I can think of, and I'm at a loss. Even my mechanic wasn't sure what it is. He can also hear the noise, but checked all the bolts and found nothing out of place. I posted this up on JeepForum, but thought you Cherokee guys might have some insight. Thoughts?

Welcome to CF!

Check the upper control arm ball socket where it mounts to the diff. It may have come out when you dropped the rear for the spring spacers.

Thanks for the welcome! The control arm joint was all good. Turns out it was extra space in the upper rear shock mount where my new Pro Comps were thumping up and down. I installed bolt sleeves and washers, and the problem went away entirely.

Good deal. Something for others to watch out for.
