OK so dont know as much about the whole mechanical pieces to this jeep life thing as id like, but i have 98 cherokee xj with a 3 inch rough country lift w adjustable track bar... im wanting to take it off and put on my 01 grnd cherokee limited..will it fit? Any differencees?

I don't know XJs very well but don't they have rear leaf springs? The WJ's I've seen do not. So I don't believe you'll have a kit that you can simply take off your XJ and slap on a WJ.

Simple answer. No. Go buy an approved kit for the 01 gc

Just for ***** and giggles, go to jeep4x4.com and click on "suspension" for both vehicles. This is Morris 4X4 Center and they will show a blow up drawing for each vehicle for parts. It is enlightening.

Hey OP, we aren't ragging on you. We just rough around the edge men. We are always here to help and answer questions.

The truth it. ZJs and WJs and beyond have coils all around. XJs have leafs in the rear and coils upfront. And the coils are different that ZJ and WJ coils

I have to admit most of the stuff has to do with XJs, but you should be able to find answers with a search. If you can't, feel free to ask. We even have a special section for lifts and tires.

Lol. I like the term "jeep enthusiast". Makes us sounds less crazy to others but in reality most the things we think about are the next mod or repair to the jeep
