Where is the Tach Wire to hook up an aftermarket Tachometer?

Default Where is the Tach Wire to hook up an aftermarket Tachometer?

So i just bought my first 96 cherokee country v6 and i want to hook up an aftermarket tachometer to my jeep. i spent three hours today trying to figure out which wire it was and where it was at. anyone one have a clue? and no i dont want to do a cluster swap, i want to put in an aftermarket tach..so anyones help and specialy pics would be great!!!

you need to hook onto one of the wires that goes into the coil pack(there is only 2 wires just cant recall which one it is)

here is where i mounted mine:

tach is on the A pillar

others are on the dash

what are those other three gauges you have one there 96_xj ?

Engine temp, oil pressure and voltage.

The wiring for them is really clean and hardly noticeable for all 4 gauges. I like them and they are more accurate than the stock gauges (well in my case idiot lights haha)
