Whats labor cost/time to install Flowmaster Exhaust?

Default Whats labor cost/time to install Flowmaster Exhaust?

I'm thinking about going with a FM Super 44 for my 2000 WJ. Can anyone tell me what I can expect to be charged at a shop?

Also...how hard is it to instal a throttle body riser..and what kind of performance increase can I expect from a K&N Intake, Throttle Body Riser, and Flowmaster exhaust combo?

Any suggestions are welcome!

Spacer is easy, just four 10 mm bolts. You may see a 15-20% increase

I got 5 mpg more on the freeway after I put a Super 44 on my 93 5.2 ZJ. Not much change city driving, but that's probably because when you have a Super 44 you tend to mash the gas pedal.

More power? Dunno...but it stomps most euro sedans off the line

Nobody here can give you a cost of installing a muffler, you're going to have to call your local muffler shop. The throttle body spacer is a waste of money, no real gain for the money spent. Almost the same can be said for the fresh air intake. K&N filters are great for letting dirt into the engine and sand blasting the back of the intake valves and the tops of the pistons.

Nobody seems to understand the stock induction system is very good and does it's job well. It takes in air from in front of the radiator where it's cool and clean, actually giving a slight ram effect at speed and supplys all the air the engine can gulp and then some. The flat pad filter can pass more than 4 times what the engine needs when it's clean. It also stays dry when it's raining because of the diverter in front of the intake snorkle. No, it's not COOL, but it works.

I'm having a great day. Think about your first question, how are we supposed to know what a shop will charge?

You should at least tell people where on planet earth you are.


But should be just under an hour to do, so depending on what shop you go to, maybe $50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, 125, 130, 135, 140, or 150 for labor.
