Default what is the name of this shield?
Hi, there are some shield between wheel hub and stearing knuckle, what is the name? i cant find it at rockauto or jeep4x4morris. Do i need them?

It's called a brake backing plate.. i ran my Jeep without them for years.

okey, maybe i just drive without them because i cant find it anyplace. I can find it for the rear but not the front. thanx.

It's called a dust shield. They are great for keeping mud and rocks up against your brake rotors.

Throw 'em away.
