What maintenance or upgrades do you have planned this summer?
Now that it's warming up in Cleveland I can finally make it into the garage. I have a few things that I would like to do this summer.
1. Body/paint---- the body was in decent condition, but my rockers were kind of bad. Once I started repairing the rockers, I decided to paint the entire truck. I'm currently fixing up all the other imperfections on the body, and should be ready to paint in a few weeks. I mess with it an hour or so after work.
2. Axle binding--- in the winter time(that's the only time I drive it), I noticed after using 4x4, that I will get a binding during tight turns when I am in a parking garage at work. I priced that axles and they were under $60 each, so that's next on my list.
3. Winter tire upgrade--- now that it's offseason I decided to grab a used set of al snow tires for the Jeep. I found a set of tires and rims for under $100 that were in awesome shape with studs.
4. Tuneup-Fluid-- this is a good time to get that out of the way
5. Lastly, locate a trans control unit and swap mine out to see if that solves my erratic shifting issue.

If I have the money saved...
-Powertrax No-Slip
-Shocks or a 2" Lift from Zone
-Possibly front pads and rotors (The ones I have now are making the whole jeep shake when I push the brake in)
-Re-paint my roof rack and possibly re-paint my rims and trim metalic silver
-(hopefully) find a gas tank skid plate and some tow hooks to mount up.

Hopefully I can get something done:
-New wiring
-New suspension
-engine and trany mounts
-control arm bushings
-new brakes (rotors, drums, the works)
I think that's enough for now
