Default well got stuck today

I went out coyote hunting, turned down my normal road allowance. started driving and realized this may be a bad idea. the snow was really hard and drifted in places. Anyway by the time I told myself enough was enough I dropped through the snow and there I sat. Hmm. Well called my son to bring my truck out. I started to back up so I could get a close enough to hook the straps on and got that truck stuck. It weighs 7500lbs so it broke through a bit easier. So a bit of digging and found some barn boards got that rig out. So my straps are not long enough, so I tell my son to string the winch cable back under the jeep to my truck. Not a good idea. put a bit of tension on and cut the cable. Well now I have an entension for my tow straps. tied it on, and started yanking. almost out and the cable cut through the eye on the strap. so tie an knot and tie it back up again, and start yanking. I have a 3500 dodge with a cummins but the problem was I was 20ft short of being on good traction, so as soon as I hit the end of the line I would get stuck or at least stop. back up and hit here again. Anway finally the front end got on good ground and that little jeep was coming out even it meant sideways. I did take 2 shots with my phone camera but need to get my chip back so i get them off. Can't believe I left my camera on the desk.

well now I need one new tow strap from truck, and a new winch line for the jeep. I maybe should have left the winch in a the reciever bracket I built. then I could have put it in the rear and not had all this grieve. well it was a pretty nice day out.
