valve seals, different in/out?

Engine: 4.0L I6
valve seals, different in/out?
I got new valve seals, they look the same but there is different color on them, there is 6 black and 6 red. black on ? Should i lube them on the inside (lucas assembly lube) before i mount them? lucas is sticky so maybe that would hold them better in place, since some of my old one wasnt in place when i removed the springs.

solved, cleaned two of the old one and one was black and one was red, all looked black, but that was old oil/dirt. No1 from front was red.
