Default Update on rear wobble Advice please

Hi guys

Got a grand cherokee 2.7 CRD 2003 Model

Had a wobble on the rear when going over bumps feels very strange

So i have now had brand new

Anti Roll bar bushes
Anti Roll bar stayblizers
Rear Shocks
2 Lower control arms
The top Transverse Arm above the diff

Seems a bit better but still sort of there or is just the way they drive?

Regards

Jack up the axle and spin the wheels. Any wobble means the problem is in the rotaing assebmly itself.
Busted belt in the tire
Bent Wheel
Bent Shaft

Hard to spin the wheels are the diff locked and do not spin freely?

Also they do not have driveshafts as its a solid rear axle design?

What is a busted belt in the tyre?

Jack it up and spin the wheels...trust me.
your axle has 2 axle shafts and unless you have a locker than can each be spun.

The only time I ever felt a wobble from the back of my rig is when I had a bent axle shaft.

The tyres have steel or fiberglass belts in them under the tread that give the tread it's strength. If this belt is broken, it can make the tyre go out of round. Also, the sidewalls only have cords that run radially from the bead to the tread. If these break, they can cause sidewall bulges and throw off the balance. Have your tyres spin balanced. Any irregularities can be seen when they are rotating at high speed.

OR... an easy way to eliminate the tyres as a cause is to put the rear ones on the front and see if the front of the car's ride changes.
