not the best deal for the amount of lift on the springs

Not bad, less than half the price of new original replacements.

At 2.5-3in of lift, Unless your suspension is just worn out you wouldnt have any of things those issues

it is my understanding that you need longer shocks so they dont bottom out when you flex with a higher lift

you need longer shocks to flex period, no matter the height. but just do DD around, for 3in no you dont.

Here's my buds 3in lifted zj, lift using stock 4.0 XJ front coils on rear and Upcountry springs with 2in spacer in front. and Zone offroad 4in lift shocks. on 30x9.50s

Tracbar, control arms, and everything else is STOCK.

For a set of Up Country coils I'd say it was a good price. My '97 ZJ had that option, and sat about 2" higher than most other ZJ's I parked next to. Tires were 245x70x16's Goodyear's.

put the springs in today, found out that someone decided to put upcountry springs in the front before i bought it??? the spring that came off my jeep and the one i pulled off the junkyard ZJ looked exactly the same, so I put a JY one on one side and left the otehr one original, measured the JY side, 19 inches from center of wheel to edge of the fenderwell, then i measured the original side, 19 inches!! I read on here that with stock height non UC springs it should measure 18 inches... pulled the JY spring back out and took the front ones back to the JY since I didnt need them after all. front end still sits lower than the back so im going to get some 3/4" spacers to bring it up a little

Did those UC coils come out of a V8 or I-6 ZJ? The V8 ones were rated for more weight, so would raise it higher. In your case, if they were I-6 UC springs, V8 UC ones would level it out.

springs i pulled came out of a V8 with tow package. when placed side by side my old springs and the ones i pulled were identical, same height, same diameter, same wire thickness, everything.

No, you most certainly did not. $80 for used coils that provide 1-2" of lift is damn near criminal.

Get your money back.
