trouble shooting

Im new to the forum and I own a '88 cherokee. Its super basic and I'm slowly getting more into jeeps but I'm looking for info. Its a 4 liter basic model but I'm having electrical problems. The cigarette lighter blows the fuse to the radio, the wind shield wipers don't go back down all the way when they are turned on. Half of the dash board doesn't light up at night when the lights are on. When the head lights are on the radio doesn't light up, but still works. I'm just curious if there is a inherited problem with these models of jeeps that you guys know of. If you guys have any ideas or info I'm more than thankful if you can help out!

I can not answer your question.I can add that I have a 97 that has some of the same goblins in it.
Dash lights and power window's stop working.Power locks open and close. Some times the dash cluster shuts off.Runs great through all of it.
This what happens when you all the bangs and whistles in a older Jeep.
If you find the magic short let me know.

well so far haven't found a magic cure but I have found a temporary but not recommended solution by playing with the fuses i found if you put a 25 in the 20 turn signal spot it helps but doesn't solve the original problem just masks it.
