Transmission wont shift
my 93 GC 4.0 wont shift into 3rd It will when I start out but after awhileit stays in 2nd Oil and filter is fine It was rebuilt 40,000 miles ago can someone helppppppppp

I'm thinking maybe the fluid is not the right fluid or it's not in good quality any more. Sounds like the tranny is getting too hot. I would suggest a drail/fill and see if that helps your problem. One drain/fill only costs about $20.
