tires and spacer lift ?'s
okay i have a completely stock 1993 zj cherokee and i recently did some wheeling and decided i needed some bigger tires and a small lift without breaking the budget of a 17 yr old. i have my eyes on some 31x 10.5 bfg's that wouls look good on my car but in order to fit these on my car i would do a all around coil spacer lift. would i need to do new breaklines? or anything else like that? and also where is somewhere i can get a deal on shocks

you don't have to replace them they have enough slack that you can move them with relocation brackets and shocks are easy to find for cheap look at four wheel parts they have pro comps from like 20 bucks a piece

with 2in lift you will be fine. my kit came with a trac bar relocate bracket for the rear. I also changed shocks. I did have to still do some trimming with 31s on the front. But I also changed wheels. If you use the factory wheels the offset may be ok for 31s and no trimming. I didn't have to trim much to make them work. The wheels I switched to were supposedly stock jeep black steel wheels. I have no idea what type of jeep they would have came on.

2" lift
For starting off I think the 2" lift is great. I have a new set of daystar in my garage I am not going to use.
Seeing as you are setting out and may not have the best funds available yet to just spend on Vehicle. I can let them go at a a good price. look it up and make me an offer.
I also have some spare new shocks in the garage that go along with them. A pair of Sky jackers, a pair of full traction and a complete set (Front and rear) of pro comps I think. I can let those go at a cheap price as well.
31 are fine for daily driving and off road. Not much change in fule or your speed change. You can fix fule by adding a good Cold air intake. Shop around for a good set of tires Procomp or BFG. I prefer BFG. But that comes to preference and use. I can not say for sure on flex.
Good luck in your search and what ever direction you take your jeep.
