OK, I'll pull out the KY 'cause some on here will ream me for asking.

You saw Snowshoe, WV on all the news = blizzard conditions.

Found these in stock here. Am I OK with Firestone WinterForce (108S) in 235/75/15 on a stock '97 Grand Cherokee ? The OEM 215's are too puny to attempt the trip!

Those will fit fine. I had 245x70x16"s on the '97 ZJ I had, but it was a Limited/Orvis w/the Up Country suspension, and sat a little higher than normal. The front's would rub on the lower control arms just a little at full steering lock. Here's what it looked like.

I love the clean look of the side steps, but i know they would be just waiting to get bashed on a rock

Thanks. Yeah, she was really clean. The underneath and engine bay was spotless too. Even the paint markings they put on at the assembly line were still there.

I thought about taking them off but decided against it. I sold it to my son Jason when his Jimmy s-10 took a crap. He's on here as ZJAY.

I had the same Winterforce 235/75R15 on my 97 ZJ and loved them. They never rubbed, never left me stuck either.

On my WJ, I'm going with General Grabber AT2s when they finally get here. They are "nationally back ordered until the end of October". I called about them yesterday and they're not here yet! The freaking snow will probably get here first!!

That's what I like about Jeeps - they have so many customization options!
Was worried when I put the WinterForce’s up next to the OEM 215's and it looked like an inner tube next to a donut! LOL LOL
Bought an extra set of OEM wheels so as to only use them, say Jan-Mar.
