Is there any way to illuminate the steering wheel CruiseControl buttons on my 2004 WJ

I have seriously lost most feeling in my finger tips, and without backlighting it is extremely difficult to use Cruise Control at night.
Does anyone sell a lighted switch kit, or has anyone here gotten creative and done this themselves?
Could use some help.
Thanks,

It would require adding circuits to the clock spring, like maybe one from a later model that has radio and disc player controls on it. Then you'll have to figure out how to backlight the buttons. I myself would like to have a heated steering wheel!

WAIT! My wife's Caravan had lighted cruise buttons. 97 I think it was.

You sure. That would be a cool idea. Found this on Ebay:

Really can't see how this is lighted but......
Also I looked up the part number on a Mopar site and it looks like that would be correct for a '97 Grand Caravan.

Was hoping someone already made a kit, surprised that it didn't come backlit from factory.
I've got a buddy that is good at this type of stuff.
Will let you know if we come up with something.
