Temp Gauge/No heat - 94 Grand
Hey guys,
The engine is NOT overheating, but the gauge will only float just a hair and no heat out of the vents. The blower is working great btw.
Start off with what has been replaced
Replaced/tested
Thermostat x2
Temperature Sender/Sensor
ECM
Hoses to/from Rad to engine
Checked fuses all seem good
I'm at a loss currently. I'm guessing maybe the heater core at this point? or Ambient Air Temperature Sensor?

I don't know. I cleaned it off and let the Jeep run. Temp hovered back to normal and heat started working again. Think it may be talking to the computer? That's the only thing I can think of. mechanically nothing other than senors/sender was touched.

more than likely that air bubble in the heater core made its way out while you were running it to check your temp gauge performance

most likely, just odd it would do it after I cleaned that sender after months of not realizing it was there. Whatever happened, it's working before winter
