T-Case drop kit

Hi guys I'm planning to put a 2 or 3 inch lift on my WJ but I've searched around and read that since I have a Dana 44 the driveshaft is shorter and its more prone to driveline vibes and I'm most likely gonna need a t case drop kit but if I do get... Let's say a 1 to 1 1/4 inch drop kit do I have to worry about putting strain or stretching the trans shifter or t case lever?

Never mind....XJ info stated, OP has a WJ.

You'll have to adjust the linkage and your motor mounts won't last as long with t-case drop installed.

what can I do with the motor mount? And how do I adjust the linkage?

13mm wrench and loosen the nut on the t-case linkage. Nothing you can do about the motor mounts. You'll be twisting them down at the back and up at the front. Keep an eye on them.

ok thank you

Or you can do a sye and not have any problems or things to adjust,Even on a budget a hack and tap is a cheaper option if you can install it yourself.

On the WJ, the trans and t/case both shift by cable. I doubt any adjustment is necessary.

a hack n tap kit is a sye kit designed to eliminate the slip yoke on the transfer case by cutting (the hack part) a portion of the slip yoke off. You then would drill a hole in center of the remaining stub. With the hole drilled, u can now run a tap (the tap part obviously) into the hole to cut threads. With that done, you can put a fixed yoke on the stub and bolt it.
