swap 4.0 for v8

swap 4.0 for v8
what v8 would be the easiest to put in with the least amount of fabrication would it be 4.7 im trying to drop a v8 in i know fabrication is almost always a must but just trying to figure out wHAT TO DO THANKS

Engine: AMC 4.0 Straight 6
Just keep the straight six... from my understanding they are very reliable and fairly simple to work on! If your 4.0 isn't in good condition you could always pull another AMC 242. It would be much better than those damned chrysler engines

If you have your heart set on a V8, my suggestion would be to get a rolled Grand of your vintage. Then you got every nut, bolt and wire needed.
