Strange noise when release acclerator pedal
Greetings to all Members.
I’ve recently noticed very strange noise (kind of rumbling roll) coming possibly either from gearbox or transfer case. The sound is coming up only when I take off my food from the accelerator and letting the car to roll free. Meaning no power is supplied from the engine. When I press accelerator again the sound stops…. Any ideas, please ? The car is Jeep Grand Cherokee 2004 2.7 CRD Quadra-Trac.
