2000 Grand Cherokee 4.7.
Sunday morn lost Check gauges came on and lost oil pressure, running fine. Stopped checked oil added 1/2 qt. got about 5 miles and stutters and stalled. Got to an Advance and got p1391 code, Changed out cam, crank and oil pressure sensors. Very hard to start and when it does VERY rough and wont idle. Monday got p0340, cleaned connectors and changed CPS again, than got p0121 put new TPS on and keep getting p0121. Cleared codes repeatedly and now even swapped ECM. keep getting p0121 and wont idle and very rough, engine is very loud but smooths out around 2000-2500 rpm. PLEASE ANY HELP. 200 MILES FROM HOME.

If it runs ok at rpm but will not idle, it may be the idle speed control. What do you mean the engine is very loud? Is it loud like an exhaust leak or is it knocking? Could also be a clogged catalytic converter. I would try cleaning the MAP sensor before going any further.

"Very loud" is pretty vague. What do you mean? My step son had a Dakota with the 4.7. He said it was making noise right before it threw a rod.
