Steering Problems
Hey, I'm new to owning a Jeep. Just bought my first one. A 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited V8 for $900 and going to get it ready for the bush. Engine and transmission seem strong but I think the power steering is gone completely. When stopped it's hard to turn the wheel and whines and when driving normal speeds the steering is very loose. Any input on how to fix/diagnose that would be awesome.

Welcome to CF!
Check your ball joints, especially the lower ones. When they are worn the steering knuckles tend to ride directly on the axle flanges. Also the tierod ends for looseness.
