I am looking for the resolution to the 2008 jeep problem. Our 2008 jeep will start on first crank, but if you are forced to crank a second time, then there is nothing. If you crawl underneath and screwdriver spark start it it will work. If you don't want to crawl underneath and don't need the car right then, the jeep will reset itself in 8 hours. But you still only have one try.
Has anyone else experienced this and found the fix ? Giantdad

I had a similar issue. It took a lot of looking around to find the problem. It ended up being a fried wire to the starter. Sometimes the connection was good and sometimes bad. Good luck.
